Maddie's Hoop Highlights

Maddie has really had fun and done a great job in this 7th grade basketball season. She has one more game and then the tourney.

#33.....loves to be the point guard. I think she plays pretty darn good down low also. She may not be the fastes point we have but she sets up the offense and tries to get a play going. She gets way flustered when the other point guards just dribble down the floor and go in for the shot. She is able to get quite a few rebounds when they do though.

It is so fun to watch the girls really get into Basketball at this age. Madison's team has 15 players so each girl doesn't get a whole lot of playing time but they really try to make it count when they are in there. This group of girls will be a great High School team in a few years. There is Maddie getting a rebound.....

Never too young to learn to shave.

One is never too young to Shave....

Kassie & Ryan gave Chase the cutest little play shaving kit. He was so proud and felt so grown up. It was very important to him that I take some photos. Now he does it in the shower but that first day he had it all set up in his room ....sitting on his favorite Spiderman chair with the little mirror that came with it.

WAHOO!

WAHOO!.. I made it through Monday. That is one huge accomplishment to say the least. 5:30am...up and at it getting child #1 dressed and ready for her day. She boards her school bus at 6:30(I still can't believe that). Get everyone else on the bus at 7 so I can make 15+ lbs of lasagna for Kassie's basketball team. Put myself together and headed to work. After school the little ones and I head to my sisters house to get ready for the girls to come at 5:45. Tandi and I made quick work of setting up tables and warming up everything, and I just sat the little kids down to eat....when my sweet loving spouse calls me to make sure I can go to the school and pick up Madison after practice at 5:30. He was headed to an after prom meeting( make a quick mental note to have a little chit chat with him about priorities later) Hello..I'm busy here(you know I didn't say that). Yep you know it I ran to the school to pick her up and guess what.. she was the last one out the door.
Anyway we had so much fun feeding 20 very hungry b-ball players. They were such a fun group and they had fun playing Rock Band after they ate.
